Issue 44 | 23 October 2026 | Weekend 24–25 October | Six singles | Exposure 14%
The weekend turns on the winning margin. Como, Marseille, Midtjylland and Häcken carry 10% of bankroll between them, and each needs a two-goal win to make a profit. Chelsea and Brentford need any win. We examine the case for each line, the price it must justify and the news that could change the decision. Total exposure is 14% across six singles.

The Sharp Take
For −0.5, the price hurdle is the win rate needed to break even after 5% commission. For −1.0, it is the share of non-push results that must be full wins: count two-goal-or-better wins against draws and defeats, excluding one-goal wins. These are calculated requirements, not forecasts.
Chelsea v Tottenham
Saturday 24 October · 18:30 CEST · Stamford Bridge [9]
Chelsea −0.5 @ 1.79 | Stake 2% | McGill
Why this line. João Pedro, Rogers and Neto have 12 league goals between them. Chelsea’s scoring options support the home-win case, and McGill’s −0.5 avoids demanding a winning margin. Tottenham arrive off their first league win, 3–1 against Coventry, while Chelsea’s goalkeeper situation remains a risk after Penders replaced the injured Martínez. [8]
Price and execution. At 1.79, Chelsea need to win about 57.13% of the time after 5% commission. That is a price requirement, not a measured edge. Before entry, confirm the goalkeeper and reassess if Palmer or João Pedro is missing: losing a principal creator or scorer weakens the route to the win.
The Rest of the Card
Hull v Brentford
Sunday 25 October · 15:00 CET · MKM Stadium [10]
Brentford −0.5 @ 1.77 | Stake 2% | McGill
Why this line. Brentford’s route is through the passing of Damsgaard and Jensen against Hull’s deep defence. The club preview identifies that matchup, but Hull have conceded only twice at home. Janelt and Yarmoliuk are suspended, so the remaining midfield has to create chances while controlling Hull’s counterattacks. Possession alone will not settle this bet. [10]
Price and execution. The 1.77 quote needs a win rate of about 57.75% after commission. Andrews reports Schuster back in training and progress for Jensen and Collins, rather than confirming every player ready to start. Check Jensen’s role and Damsgaard’s availability; further loss of midfield creativity calls for reassessment before entry. [19]
Como v Sassuolo
Saturday 24 October · 15:00 CEST · Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia [11]
Como −1.0 @ 1.75 | Stake 2% | Hayes
Why this line. Como’s 3–1 win at Fiorentina and 4–1 victory over Manchester United both cleared a −1.0 line. Sassuolo’s ten-match winless away league run adds support, but those two Como scores are examples, not a margin forecast. The question is whether the same attacking quality survives the short turnaround from Europe. [4, 12]
Price and execution. At 1.75, full wins must account for about 58.39% of non-push results after commission. Nico Paz and the selected centre-forward are the key lineup checks. Reassess if Paz is rested or the attack is heavily rotated; the case for a comfortable win depends on creation as well as recent finishing.

The Rest of the Card Continued
Marseille v Le Havre
Sunday 25 October · 17:15 CET · Vélodrome [13]
Marseille −1.0 @ 1.84 | Stake 2% | Hayes
Why this line. Marseille’s five goals at Angers and recent 6–2 and 5–1 home wins over Le Havre show the kind of scoring performance this handicap needs. The counterweight is their midweek 1–0 defeat at Sturm Graz. That result makes recovery and Sunday’s attacking selection more relevant than simply extending the previous league scoreline. [6, 14, 23]
Price and execution. The 1.84 quote has the lowest −1.0 hurdle on the card: about 55.62% full wins among non-push results after commission. A better price still needs the margin to arrive. Compare Sunday’s attack with the European team and reassess substantial rotation or new absences before committing the 2%.
FC Midtjylland v Lyngby
Sunday 25 October · 14:00 CET · MCH Arena [15]
FC Midtjylland −1.0 @ 1.72 | Stake 3% | Nielsen
Why this line. Second faces twelfth, with Midtjylland unbeaten in the league and Lyngby missing suspended Isak Thorvaldsson. Thursday’s 0–1 home loss to Sint-Truidense adds a useful warning: the club report describes several missed chances. Chance creation supports the favourite, but converting it is essential when the bet needs a two-goal margin. [16, 24]
Price and execution. At 1.72, the hurdle is about 59.38% full wins among non-push results, the highest of the four −1.0 quotes. Billing withdrew from Thursday’s squad, so check his status and any further rotation before entry. Nielsen’s larger 3% allocation makes that availability check particularly consequential. [25]
BK Häcken v Degerfors
Saturday 24 October · 15:00 CEST · Nordic Wellness Arena [17–18]
BK Häcken −1.0 @ 1.74 | Stake 3% | Nielsen
Why this line. Häcken’s 3–0 home win over Örgryte, with two goals from Julius Lindberg, provides stronger margin evidence than their league position alone. They then won 1–0 at Malmö, a score that would only push this line. The reverse meeting with Degerfors ended 1–1. The recent home attack supports the bet; those narrower results keep the margin risk visible. [20–22]
Price and execution. The 1.74 quote requires about 58.72% full wins among non-push results after commission. Confirm Lindberg and Adrian Svanbäck’s availability and reassess any weakening of that attacking unit. This is a 3% position, so a good result for the team and a profitable result for the handicap must be distinguished.

Home score first: Venezia v Napoli; City v Ipswich; Betis v Barcelona; Fiorentina v Como; Brighton v Palace; Angers v Marseille; Halmstad v Hammarby. Final scores: [1–7]. Stakes and quoted odds follow the corrected Issue 43 picks summary. All seven positions are included.
Tracker Method
Last week’s four winners earned 7.460% gross and the three losses cost 3.500%, leaving +3.960%. At 5% commission on winning market profit, fees were 0.373%, producing +3.587% net, or €358.70 on €10,000. Calculations assume execution at the published exchange odds and no other positions affecting those markets.
YTD adds returns on a flat reference bankroll before commission: 48.080 + 3.960 = 52.040%, equivalent to €5,204.00 on €10,000. There are 28 green weeks and 14 red across 42 weeks. Opening YTD is carried forward from Issue 43 without a historical re-audit; historical commission data is insufficient for a net YTD figure.
Bankroll Tip
The four 2% bets are €200 each on €10,000; Nielsen’s two 3% bets are €300 each. Maximum loss is €1,400. His positions account for 42.9% of the total stake, and each risks 50% more than a 2% selection. Those are supplied allocations, not model-calibrated confidence scores. Check Billing’s status for Midtjylland and Häcken’s attacking availability before committing that larger share.
Settlement and Entry Rules
For −0.5, any win pays and a draw or defeat loses. For Asian −1.0, a win by two or more pays, a one-goal win refunds the stake, and a draw or defeat loses. A push is neither a win nor a loss. All six are singles, with stakes on our 1–5% bankroll scale.
Before each kickoff, take the supplied quote or better, check confirmed lineups and resolve the specific availability questions in the writeup. If the price fails, skip. If relevant team news changes the case, reassess before betting rather than automatically placing the stated stake. Record any skipped position for the next results table.
Price checks use net odds = 1 + (quoted odds − 1) × 0.95, and break-even rate = 1 ÷ net odds. For −1.0, this rate applies only to non-push outcomes. All rates shown are rounded; calculations use full precision. Commission examples assume 5% on winning market profit and one position per market; use your actual rate.
