Elon's new company is private. These 3 tickers aren't.

The next Apple may already exist. Insider sources say Elon has spent two years building a secret device inside Tesla's facilities — one he claims will be "10x bigger than the largest product in history."

There's just one problem: the company is private, and unless you know Elon personally, you can't buy a single share. That was true until Guardian's research team found three public ticker symbols sitting in the launch supply chain.

Click here to see all 3 tickers, free of charge.

You won't hear these names on CNBC — Wall Street hasn't published a word on the connection. But when the launch hits September 21, that quiet ends.

Some are already calling this the biggest opportunity since AI. For anyone who missed Apple before the iPhone, this may be a second look at that kind of setup.

ODDSBRIEFING

Better prices. Selective bets. Clear accountability.

Issue 42 | Published 8 October | Fixtures 9–11 October 2026 | 12.5% maximum exposure

Last week cost 3.48%. Norway lost in Cardiff after going down to ten men, France drew at home, and Spain’s late third goal and a German draw stopped it there. Club football is back: six positions, 12.5% in total, across five leagues. The largest is Lazio to beat a Monza side that has won once all season. It’s also the only one where the market’s own numbers clear our bar. The market check below shows all six. Dortmund kick off tomorrow night, so start there.

Lines settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Odds are Betfair Exchange quotes supplied by our analysts on 8 October, before commission. The net floor is after commission. At 5% it means taking the quoted price or better: 1.72 Dortmund, 1.74 Brighton, 1.71 Lille, 1.74 United, 1.73 Lazio, 1.80 Brøndby. The gap between odds and floor is commission, not a cushion. Brighton +0 is the Asian handicap form of draw no bet. Each selection names the news that would stop us; if it lands before you’ve bet, re-assess, and once a bet is on, hold it. All times CEST.

What Last Week Taught Us

Norway did the damage. Oscar Bobb put them ahead inside 11 minutes and Daniel James equalised before the break. In the opening seconds of the second half Torbjørn Heggem was sent off for bringing James down on the edge of the box, and Neco Williams scored the free-kick. That took the full 3%. France cost 1.5% on a 1–1: Olise scored, Bastoni equalised, and a −0.75 returns nothing on a draw. [1–2]

Spain, the least forgiving line on the card, cleared −1.5 when Merino made it 3–1 in the 89th minute against ten men. Germany drew 0–0 in Thessaloniki, and the draw no bet handed back the largest stake on the card. [3–4]

Draws have now cost us three positions in a fortnight: Nykøbing, Roskilde and France, all 1–1. Last week we said three of the four lines returned something on a narrow result. That was true of a narrow win. Only the draw no bet covered a draw, and it saved €400. This week Brighton +0 returns the stake on a draw and Lille −1.0 on a one-goal win. Three of the other four need a win. Dortmund −1.25 needs a two-goal win to make a profit, and loses half the stake on a one-goal win.

The Sharp Take

Lazio v Monza

Sunday 11 October · 15:00 CEST · Stadio Olimpico, Rome · Serie A, Matchday 6 [8]

Lazio −0.5 @ 1.73 | Net floor 1.69 | Stake 3% | Analyst: House

Sunday afternoon at the Olimpico, Lazio level on points with Roma and Inter at the top of Serie A, and across the halfway line a Monza side that won for the first time this season just before the break.

The case. Lazio are unbeaten after five games: four wins, a 2–2 draw with Milan, 13 points, eight goals scored and three conceded. Monza are 16th on four points, with eight scored and 12 conceded, and their one win came at home to Sassuolo. Lazio are unbeaten in six Serie A meetings with Monza, four wins and two draws. [5, 7, 10]

The market check. At 5% commission 1.73 nets 1.6935, so Lazio need to win 59.0% of the time; a draw loses the stake. Bookmakers had Lazio at 1.55, the draw at 3.90 and Monza at 6.00. Strip out the margin and a Lazio win comes out at about 60.4%. That clears our bar by 1.4 points. It’s the only selection on the card where the market’s own numbers do. [9]

Why 3%. It’s the largest position on the card and the largest single loss, €300 on the reference bankroll. It’s the largest because it’s the one position the market’s numbers support. It isn’t larger because 1.4 points is thin. A small error in the exchange quote or the market estimate wipes it out. Lazio also win narrowly, which brings the draw into play.

The case against. Three of Lazio’s four wins came by a single goal. Against Milan at the Olimpico they scored twice and still only drew. Marušić will miss the game, and Rovella, Cataldi and Gudmundsson are out too, which leaves the midfield thin. Monza won their last league game. [5–6]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.69 (1.73 or better at 5%). Bet by Saturday morning. If the exchange has moved towards the bookmaker price, pass: the price is the case. If Zaccagni is ruled out before you’ve bet, re-assess.

The Rest of the Card

Borussia Dortmund v Werder Bremen

Friday 9 October · 20:30 CEST · Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund · Bundesliga, Matchday 5 [11]

Dortmund −1.25 @ 1.72 | Net floor 1.68 | Stake 1.5% | Analyst: Hayes

The case. Dortmund are top with 12 points from four games, the only side in the Bundesliga with a perfect record, with nine goals scored and two conceded. Bremen lost their opener 4–1 at Freiburg and are without midfielder Jens Stage. Dortmund are unbeaten in seven Bundesliga meetings with Bremen and won both last season, 3–0 and 2–0. [11]

The market check. We couldn’t find a full set of bookmaker handicap prices, so this uses a published third-party model instead: Wettbasis’s BETSiE, which has expected goals at 2.47 to 1.02. Split those goals the standard way (a Poisson distribution) and Dortmund win by two or more 47.1% of the time and by one 22.0%. On those numbers the −1.25 needs 52.9% two-goal wins, so the model is 5.8 points short of our bar. Our case is that a side with Dortmund’s start, against a defence that conceded four in Freiburg, wins by more than the model allows. [11]

Why 1.5%. The quarter-ball costs half the stake on a 1–0, and the model disagrees with us by the widest margin on the card. Dortmund’s form keeps it on the card. The gap to the model and the doubts in their defence keep it below 3%.

The case against. Schlotterbeck took an ankle knock on Germany duty, and Ryerson was hurt early in Norway’s defeat in Cardiff; Kovač wouldn’t commit to either. Chukwuemeka came back with a muscle problem, and Dortmund play eight matches this month. Füllkrug has scored in each of Bremen’s last three league games. [11–12]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.68 (1.72 or better at 5%). This is the first kick-off: bet by Friday afternoon. If Schlotterbeck and Ryerson are both ruled out before you’ve bet, re-assess.

Sunderland v Brighton

Saturday 10 October · 16:00 CEST · Stadium of Light, Sunderland · Premier League, Matchweek 6 [13]

Brighton +0 @ 1.74 | Net floor 1.70 | Stake 3% | Analyst: McGill

The case. Brighton have scored 16 league goals in five games, the most in the division, and sit third on ten points after beating Arsenal 3–0 before the break. Sunderland are 14th on four, have lost three of five and conceded ten, five of them at Manchester City last time out. They’re without Dan Ballard and Brian Brobbey, both with hamstring injuries picked up on international duty; Brobbey has three goals this season. Brighton won 1–0 at the Stadium of Light in March. [13–14]

The market check. A draw returns the stake. At 5% commission 1.74 nets 1.703, so Brighton need to win 58.7% of the matches that don’t finish level. Bookmaker prices of 2.88, 3.30 and 2.40 put that figure at about 54.5%, which is 4.2 points short. Our case is that the market hasn’t fully priced Sunderland without Ballard and Brobbey against the division’s top scorers. [25]

Why 3%. The market disagrees with us, and Brighton’s fitness isn’t settled. The doubts since the break are Ayari, who came back ill from Sweden duty, Struijk with a hamstring problem, and Dunk, only just back in training after a neck issue. These are new problems in midfield and defence. The attack that scored the 16 goals had already been playing without its long-term absentees. [15]

The case against. Sunderland have scored in four of their five league games, three of them at City, and Reinildo is back from suspension. [13–14]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.70 (1.74 or better at 5%). Bet by Friday evening. If Ayari is ruled out and Dunk doesn’t make it, re-assess.

Lille v Le Havre

Saturday 10 October · 17:15 CEST · Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Villeneuve-d’Ascq · Ligue 1, Matchday 6 [16]

Lille −1.0 @ 1.71 | Net floor 1.67 | Stake 2% | Analyst: Hayes

The case. Le Havre are bottom on two points and haven’t won in five: 0–1 v Monaco, 1–1 at Lyon, 1–2 v Brest, 0–0 v Angers, 2–3 at Toulouse. That’s four goals in five games. First-choice goalkeeper Mpasi and centre-back Zagadou are out. Lille are fourth on ten points, one off the podium, and have scored in 12 matches in a row, friendlies included. [16–17]

The market check. A one-goal win returns the stake. At 5% commission 1.71 nets 1.6745. With a one-goal Lille win at about 18.6%, Lille need to win by two 48.6% of the time. Bookmaker prices (1.40, 4.60, 6.00, and 1.96 for Lille by two or more) put a two-goal win at about 46.5%, which is 2.1 points short. Our case is Le Havre’s attack: four goals in five games, with a stand-in goalkeeper behind it. [17]

Why 2%. The −1.0 covers a 1–0, the most likely bad result against a side this short of goals. It stops at 2% because the market disagrees with us, and because Lille go to Arsenal on Tuesday and Davide Ancelotti may hold players back.

The case against. Le Havre have a decent record at Lille: a 2–1 win there in February 2025 and a 1–1 in May. Lille lost 2–1 at Nice in their last league game and are without Ethan Mbappé and Igamane. [16, 18]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.67 (1.71 or better at 5%). Bet by Friday evening. If Ueda is ruled out before you’ve bet, re-assess.

Manchester United v Tottenham

Saturday 10 October · 18:30 CEST · Old Trafford, Manchester · Premier League, Matchweek 6 [19]

Man Utd −0.5 @ 1.74 | Net floor 1.70 | Stake 1.5% | Analyst: McGill

The case. Two goals in five games. Spurs are bottom on two points, have failed to score in four of five and are still waiting for a first league win this season; their last came in May. Porro, Simons, Odobert and Mudryk are out, and Van Hecke was hurt on Netherlands duty. United have won eight of their last ten home league games and beat Spurs 2–0 here in February. [19–20]

The market check. At 5% commission 1.74 nets 1.703, so United need to win 58.7% of the time; a draw loses the stake. Bookmaker prices of 1.70, 4.00 and 4.33 put a United win at about 55.0%, which is 3.7 points short. Our case is that the market is still pricing a Spurs attack that hasn’t turned up in five games. [26]

Why 1.5%. United are 12th on five points, winless in three league games and without a clean sheet all season. Spurs’ only points are two 0–0 draws, and a third would cost this stake in full. Add the market’s disagreement and this is level with Brighton as the smallest stake on the card.

The case against. Dorgu, Mazraoui and Šeško are doubts. Mainoo and Rashford withdrew from England duty, though both are expected to play. Spurs won 3–0 at Old Trafford in September 2024. [19]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.70 (1.74 or better at 5%). Bet by Friday evening. If Fernandes is ruled out before you’ve bet, re-assess.

Brøndby v Lyngby

Sunday 11 October · 16:00 CEST · Brøndby Stadion · Superliga, Round 10 [24]

Brøndby −0.5 @ 1.81 | Net floor 1.76 | Stake 2% | Analyst: Nielsen

The case. Brøndby have lost four league games in a row, but three of those defeats came against the top four: Nordsjælland, Midtjylland and Copenhagen. The fourth was 3–0 at home to Randers. Lyngby are tenth with one win in nine, and lost 4–0 at home to Silkeborg in their last game before the three-week break. Brøndby are fifth on 13 points and have won three of five at home. In the 23 meetings Starting11 records, Brøndby have won 14 and lost six. [21–22, 24]

The market check. This isn’t a better price. At 5% commission the exchange’s 1.81 nets 1.7695, just below the best bookmaker price of 1.77. Strip the margin from the average bookmaker prices (1.71, 3.89, 3.93) and Brøndby win about 53.3% of the time. That’s 3.2 points short of our 56.5% bar. Our case is that the market is pricing the losing run, not who it came against. [23]

Why 2%. This is a disagreement with the market rather than a price advantage, and Brøndby’s defending is poor: 11 goals conceded in the four defeats. That keeps it at 2%. [22]

The case against. Lyngby draw a lot, four of their nine games, and a draw loses this bet. Their one win came away, 2–0 at Viborg. [22]

What changes the decision. Net floor 1.76 (1.80 or better at 5%). If a bookmaker offers you 1.77 or more without commission, take that instead. Bet by Friday evening: Danish lines are thin and move on small money.

How We Make The Decision

Lines and stakes are our analysts’ calls. We aren’t publishing their model probabilities this week. In their place, each selection has a market check: the probability it needs at 5% commission, set against the market’s own estimate with the bookmaker margin removed.

³ Assumes a one-goal Lille win at 18.6%, from the same prices. ⁴ Model, not market: BETSiE expected goals 2.47 to 1.02, split by Poisson distribution; one-goal win 22.0%. Market figures come from the bookmaker prices cited in each write-up [9, 11, 17, 23, 25–26].

Read it plainly. On public prices, Lazio is the only selection that clears its bar. The other five are our analysts betting that the market is wrong, and each write-up says why. A market estimate isn’t the truth, and our analysts aren’t either. If you don’t accept the reason given, the market check says pass.

Each reference price is an analyst quote from 8 October. We don’t hold a record of matched liquidity at those prices, so treat them as reference levels. The net floor is the number that binds.

Bankroll Tip

On a €10,000 reference bankroll: €250 on Dortmund, €150 on Brighton, €200 on Lille, €150 on Manchester United, €300 on Lazio and €200 on Brøndby, a maximum loss of €1,250. Place each quarter-ball line as one bet at the full stake; the exchange splits it into halves for settlement.

Before commission, at reference prices. After 5% commission the best case is +€878.75.

Commission check. Net odds = 1 + (quoted odds − 1) × (1 − commission rate). At 5%, Dortmund 1.72 nets 1.684, Brighton and United at 1.74 net 1.703, Lille 1.71 nets 1.6745, Lazio 1.73 nets 1.6935 and Brøndby 1.81 nets 1.7695. All six clear their net floors only at the quoted price or, for Brøndby, one tick below it. If your rate is higher, re-run the sum before you bet.

Why 12.5%. That’s above last week’s 10%, but it’s spread wider: six matches, five leagues, no stake above 3%. The worst single result costs €300, against €400 last week. Spreading across fixtures limits the damage from any one match. It doesn’t protect against our own errors. Five of the six positions disagree with the market, and if that disagreement is wrong, it’s wrong across the whole card. If you want less of that risk, Lazio is the position the numbers support.

One temptation to resist: rolling these into an accumulator. At these prices six legs multiply to about 28, and one loss anywhere costs the lot. Bet them singly, at the stakes above.

Tracker Method

Opening record: +48.03% over 39 tracked weeks, 26 green and 13 red, as published in Issue 41. This carries the published series forward. It hasn’t been independently re-audited, and rounding in earlier issues can’t be recovered here.

Settlement. Norway −0.75 lost 2–1: −3.00 points. France −0.75 drew 1–1: −1.50. Spain −1.5 won by two: 1.5 × (1.68 − 1) = +1.02. Germany draw no bet drew 0–0: push, 0.00. Week: −3.48. YTD: 48.03 − 3.48 = +44.55%, over 40 weeks, 26 green and 14 red.

The tracker is additive, on a flat 100-unit reference bankroll, at published prices and before commission. It is not compounded growth or a reader’s balance. At 5% commission on Spain’s winnings, last week would have been −3.53%. On the €10,000 reference, cumulative published profit stands at €4,455.
